The "Richard  Wagner Festival Wels - International Productions" is dedicated to the international marketing and establishment of its festival-productions on a worldwide basis. The ultimate ambition is to bring the work-appropriate opera productions to the largest possible audience. The festival, which was held in Wels, Austria until 2015, is now breaking new ground and trying to spread its international reputation as far as possible.
